Ms. Manders’ expertise in the area of historic preservation, gives her a unique understanding of existing conditions and retrofit issues with existing structures.  Her contributions include in situ evaluation of flashings, copings, masonry wall assemblies and mortars, in relationship to both remediation and replacement work emphasizing the proper selection of materials.  With careful analysis and material selection, Ms. Manders favors adaptive reuse with an emphasis on maintenance of historical authenticity.  She has managed numerous renovation and rehabilitation projects for our architect of record districts, including pre- and post-construction evaluation, problem solving and asbestos abatement phasing.
